Meet Tati, an incredibly inspiring mom

When Tati was 8 months pregnant, she became homeless.

She lived in hotels until she gave birth, then jumped from house to house, staying with any friends that would take her and her newborn daughter in.

"I didn't feel like I had the resources or the support," she remembered. "And when you don't have that...you lose hope."

Then, Tati learned about Ruth's House.

"It's been God's grace ever since," she said.

"I was finally somewhere where I was given the opportunity to change my life for the both of us ... the relief of having a roof over our heads and having stability. Before, I was in survival mode. Now, it feels amazing to have hope for the future."

After two years at Ruth's House, Tati and her daughter are ready for new adventures. Through Ruth's House programs, she learned about finances, parenting, and life skills, and she graduated with honors from her medical assistant program. Meanwhile, her daughter has been surrounded by love and care.

Watch Tati share her story now.
