A statement from Ruth’s House Leadership
It has come to our attention that concerns have been shared publicly regarding Ruth’s House. We recognize that when someone shares a difficult experience, it deserves to be heard. While we cannot speak to individual situations out of respect for privacy, we remain confident in our mission and the standards by which we operate.
Ruth’s House exists to provide a loving, supportive home for mothers and children during a season of transition. That mission has not changed. As a young organization, we are continually learning and strengthening our practices to ensure we are serving residents with dignity, accountability, and compassion.
Transitional housing work is complex and deeply human. We are committed to maintaining a loving and habitable home environment and to operating with integrity and transparency in all that we do. Ruth’s House is funded through private donations and community support and does not receive state or federal funding. We remain grateful for the trust placed in us by our community, partners, and volunteers as we continue this work.
